Bubba was the huge puppy of the "B" litter.  When I told Linda Sanders that he was BIG, she wanted him.  So, Bubba went to live with Linda in Las Vegas and she put his Junior Hunter title on him and also finished his championship; with a Southern California Specialty win on the way.  Bubba was one of the four in the family who were Specialty Winners - Mom Abbey at the 1992 National Specialty in Los Angeles, CA, brother Zuke at the 1998 North Country Winter Specialty and sister (but not littermate) Storm, who won the Michigan Specialty in 1999.

When I went down to Las Vegas to breed one of my females, I saw how Bubba had grown up - and looked EXACTLY like Cash out in the field.  He ran with a cracking tail and had a strong drive to find birds.  He also had a natural retrieving instinct so important in our breeding program.  I told Linda that if I could, I'd like to have him back here in Minnesota.

A few weeks after Bubba came home to Minnesota, he won the above show.  He is now retired from the show ring and is our #1 Gordon Setter guide dog on our shooting preserve.  He is a hard working, pointing and retrieving fool.  He also gets to go on all of our wild pheasant hunts out of state.  We are very lucky to have both Cash and Bubba (1/2 brothers out of Abbey) still here and having fun/working hard as guide dogs and hunting partners.
